Thank you for reaching out to me in your [post fun night] email. It’s welcoming and friendly just like my first experience to square dancing Thursday night. Let me tell you that I had a super fun time. Fun loving for sure . Friendly people .. refreshing with so many smiles and joy in people’s faces. Who would not love and enjoy this especially in these difficult and frightening times in life . I have been talking about my experience to friends and many of them are interested and want to come a lesson.I look forward to putting your face with your name and hope to meet you on September 6. I don’t belong to any groups or clubs but I would be happy to be a square bear with you all.

We look forward to our rousing fun on Wednesday nights. Talk about "throw-backs" to my teen-age years!
Friendships, Movement, Mindful Engagement and the Gift of Touch. You won't be disappointed; come on out.

On a lark last year I responded to an ad to learn to square dance. I discovered it is fun and challenging. However the hidden plus is the people you meet. They are kind, patient and good spirited. The world of square dancing is good fun.

What a fun evening last night. This whole year has been wonderful being around friendly, kind, competent, and patient people. I also enjoyed learning something completely new, and I'm still trying to learn some of the newer steps.
I'm lucky to have such a nice club to join.

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York ... where, if you square danced, you got beat-up! When we moved to Connecticut, my wife dragged me kicking and screaming to a square dance 'fun night'.
We had two young kids, little money, and she wanted to meet people and have fun. I was terrified! Here I am, several years later ... dancing, laughing, and having more fun than I could at the gym. And no one has beat me up!
